@Jackn5vh@PaddyKeoghAF Or we could trust that we actually have a data and recruitment team that know what they're doing now. You'd have been happy to spend 85m on a twice relegated player though.
@RichRedVoices I feel like the outcome will now be a mix of both for United. They'll end up paying the asking price for Baleba/Scott but they'll then sign a midfielder from outside the premier league for much cheaper to try and prove their point.
@theredarmy2436@Cantona_Collars They haven't brought back Rashford. There are no offers for him, there's a difference. Also Rashy's wages definitely can't be classed as financially good for Ineos.
@swspurs@07Simmo I'm happy we didn't over pay for a relegated player. A player that quite happily took the money over playing for a champions league club. If United were desperate they would have paid up.
@swspurs@07Simmo We signed Mbeumo and Cunha for a combined 120m, what's he doing on that list!? Ed Woodward used to do it all the time, thankfully he's not here anymore.
@FergieStandards This is what happens when rebuilding a squad. We won't get it all fixed this summer but improving the depth with four or five signings will be good progress. Then hopefully two or three youngsters will become regulars as well.
@sampeoples_ This is the Mendes circus. He'll be telling Spurs one thing and United the other. I'd imagine United will wait and see what the Spurs bid is. Berrada said they only want players who want United. If Fernandes shows signs of following the money at Spurs then United will walk away.
@radioo88@TurkTalksFC Top players who got relegated last season you mean? If Spurs are willing to pay 80m+ to a relegated team that's their mistake. Then it comes down to Fernandes. We want players who want United. Cunha and Mbeumo never once considered anything else. So let's see.
@FrankEra_@FabrizioRomano Thatโs spurs then. Canโt understand why we are so tight fisted if he ends up at spurs just fold the club embarrassing establishment
