@KatieMae415 Children are constantly exploring and interested in learning new things. It is so important that we build off of this excitement, encouraging curiosity and a scientific understanding that will take the students to new places filled with new discoveries. #EDU320chat
Positivity and encouragement.
While these words may seem simple or unimportant, implementing them into your classroom provides endless benefits. When teachers provide positive encouragement they create positive and successful minds in our youth. #monkeyseemonkeydo#EDU320chat
@GrimaldiJenna We are living in a time where the opportunities to enrich our students through technology are endless. We must take full advantage of this ability and use it to inspire! Having the chance to see coding in a classroom opened my eyes to a world of possibilities . #EDU320chat
#EDU320chat Understanding each students culture is essential to providing a fair and accessible education. As @MartaCivil so brilliantly showed in her conference; if we ourselves cannot complete a foreign task, we cannot expect our students to. Be culturally aware!!
@MDiseglio@JohnCUrschel#edu320chat I couldn’t agree more Mia! @JohnCUrschel has shown me a side of teaching I had never even thought about. We need to encourage our students to dream and believe that they can do anything. They should never feel like they cannot achieve something in the classroom.
I love this. When making math fun and exciting, learning becomes MORE diverse. It’s a stressful time for everyone, but thinking positive and creating educational games or activities can be beneficial! #EDU320
So grateful to have been a part of such a tight knit and supportive environment! It has most certainly shaped who I am and who I will be! #StonehillEDU
Today I participated in my first online class! It definitley is not how I wanted to end my final year, however, I have faith that our professors will continue to make our education a priority! #sychronizedlearning
@ProfessorMarin@LooneyMath@NaturalMath#EDU320 I absolutely loved the “steak” idea that emphasized that you should be challenging your students with every activity! Giving them only the little information they need and saving hints for later is a great way to enhance your students mathematical mindset!
It is baffling that the common core is a very recent thing. The benefits it brings about could have been useful for generations before us! #EDU320#iteachmath#mtbos
