@RunemirQi@canlungdoc@MRune Natural gas is the most common heating source in the US as well, adding AC to a forced air system with a natural gas furnace is like a $10k project. Not cheap but hardly an exorbitant luxury for a capital improvement project.
@Devonteshiquand@btsouth@Breaking911 no one is saying you can get away with murder. Upon return they would be immediately jailed for violating the terms of their pre-trial release. What we are saying is that charges aren't proof of anything, and revoking residency shouldn't be at the whim of the government.
@ENBrown Even the wording of that is terrible. It implies there exists "non valuable protected discourse* which it would be acceptable to infringe upon
@Eyliria@JstMsh Ya, we are a lot better at healing broken bones than we are at fixing ligaments or nerves. Short of straight up shattering a bone into a ton of pieces, there isn't much that can't be fixed with surgery, at least for the larger bones.
@SamCKx@Haeze The issue is that there is no reasonable way for the end user to verify that the data deletion has been carried out and that any information connecting them to their online account has been eliminated, and asking users to take such things on trust is an unreasonable burden.
@Macho_Grande1 Counterpoint: protecting your mouthbreathing brats isn't grounds for others rights to be restricted. You being a shitty parent isn't our problem.
@CMtalks_@Aaron_Torres Agreed that we've got a shot. I am a little worried that the better teams will be able to take advantage of the stamina cost we pay for playing such an aggressive style, but we shall see.
@Limeaadee @Stellar_Retro86 @SPD64 Actually, I'd like to amend the above to *purely* handcrafted work. As I do think human artistic direction will remain an essential element of good games.
@Limeaadee @Stellar_Retro86 @SPD64 Which isn't to say there aren't real ethical problems with AI, I just think anyone convincing themselves that consumers will pay the premium for handcrafted artistic work on video games is going against every piece of economic evidence we have from the past hundreds of years.
Man, the culture war discourse surrounding video games these days is so exhausting. Makes me miss the era without social media giving a platform to anybody with an axe to grind when people could just...enjoy things.
@Phant0mp0wer@mizumohno I generally agree with you, and I suspect as the game moves through production it will improve. Just saying there can be nuance to these criticisms.
@mizumohno I personally suspect a lot of it is just the lighting and postprocessing system probably not being in game yet (her hair doesn't generate obvious shadows for example)
@mizumohno Tbf, most of the comments I've seen, excluding the obvious incels/grifters, have completely agreed that Woll is gorgeous, they're criticizing the quality of the model they generated from her face.
@seanparoski@emnode@JonahDispatch You mean besides publicly talking about how he doesn't agree with the sentiments expressed in his old reddit posts, multiple times, on camera?
@412MJS@Monica55dzrh City planner here: while a 3 foot setback requirement is common in many zoning codes, setbacks can be anything from 0'-20'+ depending on the community and zoning district. Look up what your city's zoning code says first.
@OzzinaArcane@DashAttackVT In the case of the UK it would be PEGI 16 or 18. The ESRB ratings system only applies in America and is also entirely voluntary. The Supreme Court struck down age restrictions on games in the US in Brown V. EMA (2011).
@Alderan_d@NCyotee This really really depends on the exact wording of the contract and the legal jurisdiction covering it. It's insane to me how many commissions seem to just operate off informal handshake agreements.
