Childhood Trauma hijacked my life for 57 years. Mental Health Recovery is a l-o-n-g road, but it is possible. It takes Forgiveness & A lot of Self-Love!!
@AllieCowley6 Lifelong....
I have CPTSD and am 57 years old. I had a horrible childhood, too graphic to explain. Right now I am having a freakin ketamine infusion. Things that make you go hmmm!
@AllieCowley6 Oh my! Difference between someone with lived experience and someone who took a freakin class, possibly got a degree. WTF. Who gives anyone the right to contradict what you post? It is.. true for you. I feel your frustration, and I am so sorry for the ignorace of some people π
@bp_dbitch I'm so sorry you had to go through those horrible times. I see you. I hear you!!!! I can tell you are a compassionate person.
And..... That my dear is the Gift of BPD.
@bp_dbitch We ARE Freakin Warriors!!!!!!! You have to be a STRONG person to live this life, that we DID NOT choose. Sending you good vibes. Keep on keepin on!!!!!!πππ
@Auras_Journey Aww. Aura, so sorry for the late response. I don't get on here as much as I would like to. I can feel the pain. I feel it everyday.. all I know is to keep fighting for a better life. Sometimes, just having that one thing you love will keep you going and Striving to OVERCOME. π
@bp_dbitch @KrishaListens I totally agree with Kisha. I always read your tweets. You are very raw and that's what people need. Keep on keeping on . Never give up!!!!!
@AllieCowley6 Allie, the freedom that comes from getting all of that out is healing. Not every one deserves to hear your story. You will know who you can share your story with, that will not only benefit you, but the other person as well. Blessings Dear One!!!!!
@InchOrInfinity I've always felt like people think I'm lying. Even when I cancel a doctors appt. I think mine comes from, my parents always thinking I just didn't want to go to school. When I couldn't even stand up from cramping so badly.
@MorvenJDunn@eddieclarke2 Since, they are all gone now. I wouldn't even have to change the names to protect the guilty.
I would love to share my story.
My ADHD is all over the place, though. So I am now taking a course with a coach for one symptom of the abuse.
Your tweet really made me think. #THANKS
@MorvenJDunn@eddieclarke2 I did another tweet under the first one. In case you want to read it. I have a book in my head, from before birth to now. I found a therapist trained in trauma 2 yrs afo and my recovery from a Long life of the horrible SYMPTOMS of abuse has begun. They have all passed. #MYHEART
@MorvenJDunn@eddieclarke2 That's not counting the time in ΓΊtero and 4 years prior. My stepfather made my brother do things to him for years before leaving home at 14 to work the streets of memphis to live. My step brothers molested me from the age of 4-11. I could tell you so, so many stories.
@MorvenJDunn@eddieclarke2 Morven, I am almost 57 years old. My Ace score was a 10. I grew up in a home where fear reigned. A narcissistic step-father, who came into my my life at the age of four. He brought with him 2 older sons. So, my mother, brother and I were abused, phys., emot., & mentally.
