For anyone who’s ever faced a personal challenge, it doesn’t get much better than the 'Six Minutes' speech in VISION QUEST. This scene wasn’t in the 1979 novel by Terry Davis. Elmo's monologue was written specifically for the film by screenwriter Darryl Ponicsan (THE LAST DETAIL, TAPS). Actor J. C. Quinn absolutely knocks it out of the park here.
If you’d like to support the @FMJDiary project, you can bid on an original poster below. I signed and inscribed it with Elmo’s iconic line: “It ain't the six minutes... it's what happens in that six minutes.”

@sportsontvguy This was announced when nbc dropped there 2026 schedule. Two games on NBC, the rest on Peacock. I assume besides nbc games, home team will provide production and they use announcers from both teams.
@granack MLB NETWORK would just be the Yankee Broadcast which you can watch on the YES Network. MLB Network uses Teams Broadcasts except for one night a week at most when they have their own crew.
@BrianCody107 Similar to a baseball player not being able to lay down a bunt. Practice in spring training, half ass then never think they have to actually bunt.

This deleted Rocky IV (1985) funeral scene for Apollo Creed is considered by many fans to be far more emotional than the theatrical version. Sylvester Stallone cut it from the final film because he wanted a faster, more high energy pace instead of slower character moments.
