Every Big 4 championship over the past 50 years where both teams were chasing their first title
• NFL hasn’t seen any in 26 years
• NHL has seen 6 in the past 36 years
• NBA has seen 3 in the past 60 years
• MLB is about to see it for the first time in 46 years
@Quaker2001 Standalone games, but not including the international mornings. So I’m including Thanksgiving, Friday and Saturday games in this stat
7/10 didn’t involve any FRI/SAT games. They either went TNF-SNF-MNF or TNF-MNF-SNF
This feels more like an unintentional scheduling quirk to me
As standalone games grow, clustering a few teams into odd time slots becomes unavoidable… but Mike’s theory is still interesting
There will be no flex - Eagles at Commanders will be Sunday Night Football on November 1st (Week 8)
Browns at Steelers was seriously considered per @RobTornoe
The Week 8 SNF game between the Eagles and Commanders might get flexed today, although it’s a more complex decision than usual
@schedulerelease breaks down the possible replacements below, and the most likely game to be flexed in may surprise you…

@hujbgfvvf I know it’s misleading, but this isn’t the true playoff standings. The tiebreakers go off percentage first, which MIN and SF are currently tied in. The number of wins do not matter
ESPN and NFL display it that way even though it is technically wrong by their own tiebreaker rules
@hujbgfvvf The tiebreakers go entirely by percentage
Not like it really matters at this point anyway considering they will play the same number of games
Per team president Mark Lamping, the Jaguars are hoping to play all eight of their home games at their home stadium in Jacksonville during the 2028 season with their new stadium renovations being completed
