Our volunteers, advocates and staff work tirelessly to support victims at no charge, advocate for stronger laws and create a future of No More Victims.
We came together on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, for the Walk Like MADD event at the Kakaako Waterfront Park. The family friendly walk helps @MADD_HI raise awareness and funds to stop drunk & drugged driving, underage drinking, and provide support to victims and survivors.
Some of the most dangerous days of the year on our nation’s roadways are between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day. If you’ve been drinking, call a sober friend, taxi, or ride share to get you home safely.

Designated drivers like festive drinks too — party hosts are encouraged to remember non-drinking guests and designated drivers by including festive options such as mocktails. https://t.co/6sNGrtDp0j
537 people died on Hawaii's roads in the last 5 years. Best way to remember them & everyone killed in crashes ... drive safely, slow down, watch out for all roadway users & buckle up. We pledge to do our part. But you need to do yours. @WDRemembrance#WDoR2021#NoExcusesHawaii

Thank you @RepKathleenRice for sponsoring the #HALTAct and asking about drunk driving prevention tech during the @EnergyCommerce subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Commerce hearing. The technology exists! Let's get it on cars and save lives.
