In Connecticut, we're taking action for adult education.
Our learners, educators, and administrators have a simple message:
We Took Action. Did You?
Now we're challenging programs, partners, and supporters across the country to join us.
#FundAdultEd
@RepJahanaHayes we urge you to once again sign the FY27 Adult Education appropriations letter led by @RepDanGoldman and @Rep_Grijalva by March 25 to continue your support for adult learners and workforce development. #FundAdultEd

.@SenBlumenthal@ChrisMurphyCT@repjoecourtney We urge the Senate & House to pass legislation & continue to work with the HELP & Education and the Workforce Committees and the Administration on a robust implementation that further strengthens adult ed programs & services.
COABE fights for you! Necessary funds that keep adult ed programs running only come about with direct advocacy. When funds are slashed, #AdultEducation is usually first in line to experience cuts. Today, COABE floods the hill to host meetings with legislators. We continue to foster and develop relationships with the representatives and senators who serve our nation so that they can see how vital adult ed is to our nation’s communities and economy as a whole.
In a world where the word "diversity" is a trigger word, I want to remind you all what diversity actually means – the inclusion and equity among all students of all backgrounds.
Who wouldn't want that?
Students took to the CT state Capital for an Adult Education & Family Literacy week celebration. State Representative @hildaforct took time to meet, talk and take a picture with the ESL students.

COABE thanks the #DollarGeneralLiteracyFoundation for their timely and generous donation! During #AEFLWeek, we celebrate the right for every American to receive an education and gain literacy skills, and this grant will empower adult learners across the nation!
