✝️I am a proud “Cradle Catholic” who has received all of the main sacraments in the Catholic Church as a child/young adult.
1-Infant Baptism
2-Reconciliation
3-First Communion
4-Confirmation
I went to a Jesuit Catholic College (class of 2008).
My father passed away my freshmen year in college right in front of me (he had silent heart attack…God took him quick).
My father’s wake was on my 19th birthday, and his funeral was the day before Thanksgiving that year.
The last gift I ever received from my father was the physical DVD “Wall Street” on the day of his wake (my mother waited to give it to me before we left for his wake that evening).
When I opened DVD case…
Inside there was a written note that said…
“Make sure to take notes, I know you will have questions!”
My dad and I would always have the most interesting conversations about politics, business and the world, so his note to me was no surprise!
Also…
He was ALWAYS my “connection to the world of politics, foreign affairs, business and everything in between.”
That is what I always miss about him when I think of him, and his influence on my life.
After he was buried…
By the grace of God…
I did not leave school after he passed, and instead kept moving forward.
Eventually, I got to the point in my faith journey where I remember saying to myself in my dorm room…
“I guess it (life) is all on me now…”
When I said this to myself in that very moment…
I made that statement mean that…
I would proactively be taking the wheel on my life, while “throwing” God in the backseat…and only focus on doing things MY WAY (via the way of the world).
Can you relate?
Leading up to my father’s death…
I always did what my parents told me to do inside the context of my Catholic faith (and walk with God).
From my personal experience (and through most of my observations leading up to publishing this post)…
Most Catholics are like that while growing up.
You know…
They “Go through the motions”…
While “Running through the sacraments” without truly understanding the BREADTH & DEPTH for why they exist in the first place.
From that point forward after making that “personal pact” with myself…
And shortly after graduation…
I entered into the period of my life that I now refer to as my “prodigal time”…
Where I continued to hold the steering wheel…
With God in the back seat…
To use God as I wanted…
To have him help me accomplish what I wanted in the way I thought was best.
You see…
During this period of my life…
I never ever stopped believing in God…
But my relationship with him changed and shifted (before dad died, and after dad died).
Before Dad Died:
“God was in control 100%.”
After Dad Died:
“I had the wheel, and God was in the backseat.”
During this 20+ year prodigal time…
The “Roller Coaster of Life” was very real for me.
(I will let you fill in the gaps there 🙂)
And then in September 2025…
Charlie Kirk was assassinated in front of every single one of us…
In the most brutal way possible…
And (pause)…
What happened after that…
Was definitely not in “My Plans” at all!
If you are curious about what happened next, read my first reply (and get ready to enjoy the journey).
By making posts like this…
It is my hope that…
The lessons and wisdom you gain from my personal experience in life (while walking with God and Jesus) will hopefully help you on your personal faith journey no matter where you are right now.
God gets ALL the GLORY 💯
May God Bless You ✝️🔥🙏🏻

🚨 BOOM: The New York Times just had to pull 15 midterm polls after the "pollster" behind them ADMITTED almost all of it was FAKE.
The firm is called Wedgewood Polls. It pumped out made-up numbers from June to October, and the Times put them right on its official poll tracking pages.
The Times says it vetted them first.
Wedgewood's own words on how easy it was to fool the media: "Far too easy."
This is the same paper telling you which polls to trust.
Trump has been saying it from day one. Now they're proving it for him.
