Each Starship launch could generate $1 billion in revenue. Elon is aiming for 10,000 flights per year, or $10 trillion in Starship revenues, by 2030. If SpaceX achieves this goal, its $1.75 trillion IPO will be considered, in hindsight, a deep value opportunity!
SpaceXAI engineer Lingxi Li, @lingxi, runs code cleanup while everyone else is asleep. Nobody is shipping at 3 AM, so conflicts are rare and the changes are low risk.
His bots start a research agent that sweeps the monorepo for quality issues, poor modularization, comment bloat and security gaps. He wakes up to a stack of PRs.
The very moment SpaceX CEO Elon Musk gave the instruction to bring Starship back home after it had softly splashed down and was floating in the ocean, “We should get it back,” Elon said.
The recovery team had no plan whatsoever for how they were going to recover the ship.
They formulated the plan while already heading toward Starship, and they succeeded.
That’s the maniacal sense of urgency right there.
Elon: “What's the closest ship, plane or whatever?”
SpaceX engineer: “We have a ship fairly close and big enough”
Elon: “We should get it back”
SpaceX engineer: “We will try”
BREAKING: The U.S. Space Force is giving @SpaceX freedom to choose the design and satellite count for its military data network. 🇺🇸
This is a huge vote of confidence in SpaceX’s unmatched ability to build the best system at speed and scale.
The $2.2B deal was awarded in May.
BREAKING: SpaceXAI has introduced Memory in Grok Build, allowing it to carry useful knowledge from one coding session to the next.
• Remembers coding conventions, key decisions, reasoning and important project facts
• Captures useful notes in the background after each completed turn without interrupting work
• Reads relevant memories when you return to a project
• Keeps separate memories for each project, plus global preferences that apply everywhere
• Leaves out secrets, temporary task status and information already covered in project files
• Saves memories as Markdown notes
• /dream automatically organizes notes into topic files
• /memory lets users browse and preview every saved memory
• Current instructions always take priority over saved memories
• Available now for new Grok Build sessions
This is a massive upgrade. Grok Build can now understand a project better over time and become more useful the more you work with it.
Good news, Tesla is now one step closer to starting construction on a new $10.1 billion solar manufacturing factory near Houston, Texas.
The Lamar CISD board has unanimously approved moving forward with a tax incentive agreement for @Tesla's proposed "Project Crystal Sun."
Lamar board member: “I am ultimately going to support this because I believe a project of this size will be a net positive impact for our county, including the 10,000 jobs. As Tesla becomes a major employer in the county, I really look forward to our students benefitting from that.”
Tesla is aiming to start construction this year and finish in 2028, with commercial operations starting in Q1 2029:
• Site covers part of roughly 3,000 acres
• The project would create 9,712 permanent full-time jobs
• Entail a total of ~$10.1B in capital investment
• Total direct and indirect economic impact of the project would generate an estimated ~$6.4B in state and local taxes.
• It is estimated that the State of Texas would increase its GDP by ~$107 billion as a result of the project.
The project will include:
• Wafer Manufacturing
• Ingot Manufacturing
• Coating
• Metallization and Printing Lines
• Cell Testing and QC
• Automation and Material Handling
• Cleanroom and Production Support
• Site Infrastructure
• Chemical Storage and Delivery
• Utility Infrastructure
• Environmental and Safety Systems
An epic vertically integrated solar manufacturing facility ☀️
So here's a crazy stat: Starship's upcoming 14th test flight next week, which will deliver 26 @Starlink V3 satellites to orbit for the first time, will increase the entire Starlink constellation capacity by 3%.
It would take 10 Falcon 9 launches (277 V2 satellites) to add that same amount of capacity.
Future Starship launches will eventually carry up to 60 next-gen Starlink V3 satellites, adding ~61,000 Gbps of network capacity in a single launch. That means each Starship launch will be able to deploy roughly as much Starlink capacity as 23 Falcon 9 launches combined - equivalent to about 640 V2 satellites.
Three SpaceXAI employees are building a company in 3 days with Grok Bot. This is Day 2.

Read every word... Trump just declared sovereign control over the AI command layer...
The guardrails sit above the models, inside American command... Trump names Dario, confirms Anthropic has already been contained, then points directly to the criminal and regulatory power sitting over the entire industry...
Then he closes the loop with China... the attacks on AI, data centers, insider leaks and manufactured fear all serve the same objective: slow America while Beijing races forward...
“Whoever wins AI, wins.”
The perimeter is built, the enforcement power is active, and the Anthropic takedown was the warning... which means the intelligence layer is now under sovereign control... see below...
Addendum... Anthropic is done inside the sovereign stack, and the Pentagon migrating 90% of its classified systems away from the company proves exactly how this AI bubble will be handled...
Every Maven and Palantir workload moved months ago, the remaining systems are scheduled out by month’s end and America retained the data, infrastructure, command system and AI capability while removing the corporation that attempted to place its own authority inside the sovereign architecture...
Instead of bailing out the entire AI industry when the bubble breaks, we are keeping the rails, replacing the captured vendors and allowing the bad ones to become the example...
Anthropic built the product, funded the fear surrounding it, helped surround the evaluators and pushed the regulatory machine that would protect its position, only to discover that the government could disconnect the company without losing the technology...
That changes the entire corporate cycle because the company no longer holds the system hostage, the public no longer has to absorb its failure and every AI corporation now understands the terms of operating inside the new architecture...
Serve American sovereignty or die outside it...
We’re inviting one Grok Bot user to a Starship launch. You could win the invite by sharing the ways you've integrated @Bot into your work. The invite includes a plus one.
How to submit and some examples we love:
Elon Musk explains why Terafab must be built and gives an update on the Tesla and SpaceX R&D chip fab in Austin:
“For some reason, at some point, chips may not continue coming here from Taiwan. That would really make things difficult if we didn’t have any chips. That’s an important reason to have Terafab. There needs to be certainty of future supply of chips, even if things become challenging geopolitically.”
“Long term, there’s a scaling challenge. If you want to really scale AI, both at the servers and for edge compute, humanoid robotics and cars, you kind of run out of capacity with the existing fabs. All the fabs are running at max capacity. It’s either build Terafab or fail to scale. Those are the two options.”
“There’s an R&D fab that we’re building in Austin. That’s a collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX. We have all the equipment on order. I think we’ll probably be able to make something useful by the end of next year. It really is crawl, walk, run. The first step is, can we make anything? Then make useful chips at scale. And then run would be, now let’s make them at massive scale.”
Elon Musk just gave a huge update on Grok 4.8
Grok 4.8 is a massive 2.5T model trained using SpaceXAI’s new C++ software stack
Pretraining finishes this week.....then it moves straight into reinforcement learning
While Grok 4.7 is getting its final refinements.....and Grok 4.8 is already moving into its next phase
