In a study conducted in Iran, one group of participants took part in educational birdwatching sessions and a full-day birdwatching trip, while another group participated in general nature walks.
Reductions in anxiety and stress were significantly greater among participants in the birdwatching group compared to those who engaged in nature walks. However, no significant difference was observed in depression scores between the two groups.
