@JoshYohe_PGH Concussions unfortunately killed his career imo. His aggressiveness in the crease and playing high was his strong suit. I feel like he started playing more back to avoid hits and it highlighted how bad his glove was. Wish he could’ve been the 15 year successor to Flower.

This is why you bring Geno back imo. He becomes what Gonch was to him to the young guys. He wasn’t great last season but he also wasn’t a detriment to the team. His leadership gives him value that his replacement may not bring.

@crosbyhistory87 Concussions derailed his career. Opponents made him start playing deeper in his crease because he didn’t wanna get hurt anymore. Once he got deeper in his crease it exposed his glove. So unfortunate because of how well he played those first couple of years.
