i don't have a solid opinion on anti-theism, yet, so.. i won't comment on how right or wrong it is for any religion to be insulted. i am, however, a muslim raised atheist so that plays into my takes. i wouldn't be surprised if anybody brought up differently feels differently

while i had my opinions about lady bird, i often think back on the "just because something looks ugly doesn't mean it's morally wrong" line. insulting (even humorously) mosques, or islam, generates public backlash. doing so to other religions, especially christianity, doesn't

still, no, i haven't seen that same level of backlash. and i honestly just think about it because those raised christian often make light of going to the church, but making light of the mosque or general islamic culture is so frowned upon
