@SteveReedMP This wont go well. Many will not rent out their property. Plenty of people actually like fixed term contracts. It will make it more difficult for students. How are you going to prove discrimination?
@RoryStewartUK@RachelReevesMP People on minimum wage would lose a much larger % of their income.
22% would be around ยฃ200 pounds extra a year. That is a lot on top of all the utility bill increases.
@sharrond62 They can't. I worked in finance within the ruthless care industry. The only winners are directors. Assets are extracted from the old and the vulnerable. They pay into the system and are treated with utter contempt. Losing All their assets and savings to a corrupt system.
@JasonFarrellSky reports from the beaches of Dunkirk on the people smuggling operations taking place to get people across the Channel.
Sky News saw more than 100 migrants poised, ready to run to catch a boat to Britain.
@MarkDavis123646@Jenny_1884 Yep. Many large companies buy up small care companies and take any profits out of them as dividends. Once they have milked the smaller companies for everything they can, they close them down.
@Stretch_1967@Jenny_1884 Yep. If you need care in later life,
everything you work for will end up in the hands of a fat cat director of a large care company often owned by an even larger foreign company taking their cut.
@Jenny_1884 A worker on min wage gets hired out to an agency for ยฃ20 plus expenses. On top of that the larger care companies paying these agencies get their profit from the council or private clients. Huge bonuses go to directors.
