Nano's V28 Electrum marks the start of commercial grade. It's likely to be the start of more merchants and businesses using @nano.
We have an announcement of our own to go with this.
10% of our Nano profits go straight to the Nano dev fund from now on.

6 years passionately creating YT content, educating & motivating Halo fans. 62k subscribers, hundreds of videos, it became a large part of my livelihood and life's work.
Taken away in an INSTANT by a hacker, who turned my account in to a Ripple livestream.
Now @TeamYouTube is refusing to give my channel back due to community guidelines violations made by the HACKER.
There must be a mistake, this is a CRUEL punishment I am not responsible for and do not deserve.
After years of anonymity it’s time for a reveal: I’m Milan (de Reede), the person behind the Mira Hurley account.
When I started posting on Twitter I worked at the Dutch central bank. To keep my crypto interests and my work separate, and because I was and am very critical of central banks, I needed an anonymous account.
When I moved to a crypto policy position at the central bank, which is a whole other story, anonymity became even more important:
1. After writing a widely shared critique of Bitcoin, someone dug up my real name and employer. They contacted my workplace, timestamping my posts to match them to Dutch working hours, highlighting posts they thought most objectionable to a central bank, and suggested they "do something about it."
2. I've received death threats, with one person including my home address in the threat. While likely just keyboard warriors, it was still concerning.
Because of this I understand why people prefer discussing crypto anonymously, and I gained an increased appreciation for privacy.
The reason I'm revealing my identity now is two-fold.
1. I left the central bank and started @NanoGPTCom together with @tweaterdotdk.
For those unfamiliar, NanoGPT provides access to a wide range of AI text and image generation models with a strong focus on user privacy.
We're proud of NanoGPT's growth and of decentralizing AI access, and revealing my identity allows us to grow NanoGPT (and Nano) faster.
2. We recently incorporated NanoGPT as a business. This means my real name is linked to NanoGPT. At least one person has already made the connection - there will be more. I'd rather "reveal" myself than have it be a gotcha.
My doxxing also comes with other advantages:
- I can attend meetups as myself.
- I'm now able to accept podcast and speaking requests.
- I can explain and spread crypto to a far broader audience.
I've always been very enthusiastic about crypto and it feels like I can do a lot more now.
To everyone who's followed Mira Hurley over the years: Hello world! It's nice to re-meet you all as Milan. My content will remain the same as it always has been, and I'm looking forward to speaking with you.
We have reached an agreement in principle for Sam Altman to return to OpenAI as CEO with a new initial board of Bret Taylor (Chair), Larry Summers, and Adam D'Angelo.
We are collaborating to figure out the details. Thank you so much for your patience through this.
Heartbreaking to hear of more industry layoffs. 343 Industries is currently hiring a variety of roles on our @Halo development team. Visit the Microsoft Careers Site to learn more and apply: https://t.co/C6BERNAFrG
For comparison, in the entire history of #nano, $0 has been paid in transaction fees on the nano network.
This is because there are no transaction fees - $XNO is unique in that it is free to send and receive globally! 🤯
Quite a contrast!

1/ It's no secret @elonmusk will turn X into the everything app, including payments.
I think he's realised neither Doge nor BTC is suited for it. In an absurd twist of fate, Ӿ might be exactly what he's looking for.
The most entertaining outcome may truly be the most likely.
@elonmusk Since the payments slide is empty, a suggestion. Use Nano for it. It offers instant, feeless and eco-friendly transactions. Anyone in the world can use it. It's open source, scalable and decentralized. Coincidentally, its symbol is Ӿ.

Welcome to Ӿ!
Our symbol tells the story of a global, equal, simple and distinct digital currency. Most importantly, this symbol is easy to draw universally, allowing for adoption by anyone, anywhere.
Let’s take a look at how the symbol tells the story of #nano $XNO.
Blockchains can’t sample the real cost of running the network e.g. they don’t know server/bandwidth/storage costs. Because of this, finding “the right incentive” is a fool’s errand. It will always be either too high, encouraging rent seeking and centralization, or too low, making it pointless.
However we *can* avoid wasting developer effort deciding an incentive model entirely. This has the added benefit of simplifying the UX where users need to decide a transaction fee based on congestion.
Nano has successfully operated this way since day 0.
Apollo will close down on June 30th. Reddit’s recent decisions and actions have unfortunately made it impossible for Apollo to continue. Thank you so, so much for all the support over the years. ❤️ https://t.co/HOJaLMW8fx
