If you know the bread and butter dysplasia and FAI features, that will help facilitate proper work up and treatments. Things like lateral center edge angle, anterior acetabular index, posterior wall signischial spine sign, fear index, retroversion, etc. Not rocket science here. Basic, bonehead x-ray stuff🤓🤫 i'm not sure why so many of these are essentially called normal still.

@mmamas1973 Sadly all too common. Prior to consultant post I took a 22k pay cut for the benefit of "doing a fellowship in a prestigious centre". Because it was a 'non training role' & the trust could pay what they liked...whilst I did more & earned less than ST8s for doing the same job

I don't think either answer (THA Vs Hemi) is wrong..but more evidence for the latter

@DrJessTaylor You missed out the bit where authors have to pay for the privilege of publishing in certain journals, as well as footing the bill if they want articles to be open access 😉 making money from intellectual property isn't enough, we have to pay to give it to them
