One has to say, Anirudh Goyal was innately talented, given the time he gave to golf even after turning professional. It was a stage when Anirudh was figuring out what he wanted to do in his 30s and 40s. It was a toss-up between golf and growing the family business and his interests as an IT professional.
A couple of injuries made it easy to choose, and Anirudh walked away only to make a comeback as an eager amateur.
In the time away, Anirudh has matured, but his take on the sport is the same. “Golf is life-changing, makes you so self-aware, and it’s fascinating how the mind works, especially when you’re playing competitively.”
