@SicilianTradr From what I remember from the commercials, he claimed to actually buy his gold from Rosland. From what I've heard, Rosland got in trouble when the price of gold spiked and they couldn't get it at the price people were trying to buy it at. Turned into a ponzi scheme at that point
Flabbergasted by Rosland Capital Gold bankruptcy and the fact that William Devane has promoted this company for 15 years but bears no responsibility because he's an actor. So much for celebrity endorsements.
@SicilianTradr Yeah, I guess it's OK with you that people lost millions of dollars in what looks like a ponzi scheme because they trusted the word of an actor.
@Leonajardinho Higher education used to be a ticket to a better life. From most posts I've seen on X, higher education appears to be a make work endeavor for the employees at the universities.
@MetamateDaz Guess you didn't learn much about inflation. $3000 today is equivalent to ~$300 in 1966. In 1966, average salary was ~$7600. In 2026, average salary is about $66,000. Do the math buttercup.
@WallStreetMav My father worked as a school crossing guard, then a delivery person for an auto parts store in retirement. It got him out of the house and he enjoyed talking to people. My sister works part time in a hospital for the same reason.
@elonmusk Worse than that, free everything is robbing people of their ambition to help themselves make a better life. The entitlement mentality is destroying democracy. As much as Elon's overpromising annoys me, he is providing jobs making some of his low level employees millionaires.
@famexbt Prices on everything have gone up because the dollar has lost value (or as the government describes it price inflation). Rental properties have expenses like maintenance, insurance, taxes and management.
@mayemusk Your son has made many promises to countless number of people that have not materialized. He's also made numerous people, including yourself, very rich. There is no shortage of lies surrounding Elon Musk.
