@1Nicdar The distribution of universities and colleges towns in the entire state ensure that democrats are the majority throughout. Love my home state and their progressive values!
@LaneyHawes@mcarmona1994@KenPaxtonTX@TimothyOHare@NateSchatzline@GregAbbott_TX As a parent who lives in North Fort Worth and has driven to Lake Worth (bc there isn’t a location in NFW) to get one child’s license and a second’s permit recently, the paperwork required is extensive. They are not issuing licenses to undocumented immigrants. Made up story.
@AronMclellan@Amylou3030 @RumbleMafia @krassenstein @Xcellent78 Pride has been celebrated since 1969 after Stonewall. Men’s Health month started 1994. How is Pride high jacking when it has been celebrated longer? I honestly would have guessed November was men’s health month with the whole no shave thing. 🤷🏻♀️
@kellerisdstrong@LaneyHawes I have watched the whole meeting. A friend recently shared a graduation speech Mr. Rogers gave years ago. We could all use a little bit of Mr. Rogers.
@kellerisdstrong@LaneyHawes You really need to stop doubling down. That is just not how anyone should treat a fellow mom no matter how much you disagree with them. The kids are watching and we wonder why there is so much bullying in schools.
@LaneyHawes@1776ProjectPac It is right up these super weathly donor’s alley to create a super PAC with all their money that pushes funds into districts far away, yet they are not willing to pay enough to have competent staff. They know they are targeting low information voters. They don’t respect them.
We’ve got Super PACs (1776 project) injecting $$ into our school board races again. These 2 candidates filed their 1st campaign reports & are already at nearly $60k between them- for an unpaid position! Normal parents can’t compete. Our schools have been bought by far right orgs.
@ShaneAHardin@KellerISD There was a piece on NPR yesterday about Trump creating chaos and how it is hard to combat because you don’t realize his supporters love the chaos. The concept of manufactured chaos seems to be hitting really close to home.
Sums up the whole situation:
“Parents have the right to determine what their children are allowed to read. But what we're having a problem with is parents that want to determine what other parents' rights are for their children to read what they want.”
