@spoongreen33@Pogitoed@NixToWaddle Yeah I’m serious. Maye played/has played like shit but defending champs are now .750 in next szn SB matches. But I’m supposed to pretend it’s a worse loss than a random matchup 2 years ago against a team with a HC making his debut?
This shit isn’t apples to apples.
@spoongreen33@Pogitoed@NixToWaddle None of your Maye points are invalid, but what you’re saying doesn’t make fucking sense. Defending champs, with probably the nastiest front 7 in the league, with an incredible defensive scheme. You’re comparing that to a team that finished 8-9
@MileHighMims@realapp Just for what it’s worth, modern day week 1s are typically ass product, especially offensively. Even if the Broncos come out sputtering, I dont think it’ll be indicative of their offense the rest of the season by any means. Waddle should make the offense interesting
@LukeFraney@MMOX991@BetMGM Something has to be said about the lack of preseason action NFL starters are facing. Feels like every year teams are coming out week 1 flat and gassed.
Jerod Mayo’s 2024 Patriots beat the Bengals with Brissett under center.
Teams just aren’t ready to go week 1
@HURTS2x@AZDMcD@michaelFhurley That’s not what happened from post snap to release of the ball but whatever. He was ass and has been playing like ass. Doesn’t make the hill you’re trying to die on any less wrong but whatever 😂
@HURTS2x@AZDMcD@michaelFhurley You’re mistaking cushion for separation. The defenders are squared off and have leverage. That’s an exceptionally high risk throw, especially for the moment. Again, he should have thrown it away.
@HURTS2x@AZDMcD@michaelFhurley You’re the retard. If he throws it there he’s still getting dragged for throwing a game ending INT. Should have just thrown it into the stands.
