On April 17, we celebrate World Hemophilia Day. This year’s theme is “Access for all: Women & girls bleed too”. Today, women and girls with bleeding disorders are still underdiagnosed and underserved. The global community has the power and the responsibility to change this.
VWD is the most common #BleedingDisorder, affecting an estimated 1 in 1,000 individuals, yet it remains vastly underdiagnosed. The WFH's 5-year goal is to increase VWD diagnoses by 110,000 (25%), and we're getting closer. Learn more in the annual report: https://t.co/x7ZpeT7rQx
