@naima You may want to ask her what she'd like to make? Granny squares are super popular right now, or if she wants to make little toy animals, crochet is the way to go.
@naima But if she would like to have a scarf or mittens, or even a sweater one day, she'll want to learn to knit. 11 isn't too young to learn. If you can't find a patient teacher, I'm sure she'd pick it up from youtube!
@smokeyrgreens I came across some when I was kayaking 2 weeks ago. What a treat! They grew all along the rocky shore of the entire reservoir, so all I had to do was reach up and pick. They made the BEST muffins 😋
An NPR analysis of USDA data found that Black farmers receive a disproportionately low share of direct loans given to farmers — leaving them behind in a program that is important to their livelihoods. https://t.co/7xZn9miT55
@ReelTalker I watched it when I was trapped on a long flight. I thought it was equally cute and cringe, and overblown. Pretty much just like being 13 lol
@knitquiltsewst1 So great to see this actually written out. The number of times that a white person has "explained" to me that (something that offended me) wasn't really racist 🙄
@knotbadbritt Are you interested in natural colored farm (not merino) yarn? I'm crocheting with my fingering weight Shetland/mohair/silk and loving it!
@ExcuseMyFly Amethyst, have you every had Korean pickled crab?? It's deeply funky and a mess to eat but I'm literally drooling a tiny bit just thinking about it https://t.co/PoEhTCRUXv
@GGmadeit Anytime you need to fill your tank with comfort, my sheep and I are here for you. Can't promise the rest of the crew (or Marce's cooking!) but I'll always have bread & tea ready ❤️
