Bookings for #MBparks opened today! Congratulations top the lucky few Manitobans who will get the privlege of sleeping in our parks this year.
Missed your chance? Well you should have been waiting in line for your assigned lottery number at 7am like 7400 other people. #MBpoli
Please note that we mean *park entry* is free for the week. Private companies looking to purchase our parks for profit will still have to go through the same old rigmarole. #Mbpoli
Celebrate Canada's Parks Day and access @MBGovParks for free with no vehicle permit required from Monday, July 11, to Sunday, July 17. https://t.co/YhCi8yzuKx #MBParks
When you go to visit parks that are unstaffed and falling apart, remember:
It's your own fault for wanting to see nature, ya filthy animals. (j/k we don't protect nature for animals either) #MBpoli#MBparks
๐Nopiming Provincial Park
Mineral exploration is doubly insulting when Manitobans just finished fighting an underfunded and undersupplied park system for a chance to camp.
Somehow there's always room for these guys...

Listen, it's not our fault that the NDP put a park on top of all those minerals. If it had been up to us, Nopiming Park wouldn't exist at all!
But since it does, we're committed to making our parks accessible for everyone, even mining prospectors. ๐

BREAKING: After a supporter contacted us about mining activity in Nopiming Provincial Park, @EricReder discovered kilometres of newly bulldozed mineral exploration near Beresford Lake.

Thanks for the feedback Jodi.
We're getting a new app next year but don't worry, we'll keep the excitement alive by continuing with the overwhelming campsite shortages. #MBpoli#MBparks
So @MBGovParks howโs that camping registration system working today? Had a ticket and as soon as I got in the site crashed. At what point are you going to make this system work?
Sorry to hear Tyler! Unfortunately a strong internet connection is a requirement to survive the Campsite Booking Battle Royale.
Don't worry, next time we'll make sure our app is much better so we can sell out completely to the 100,000 users logged in at 7 AM quickly and smoothly.
@Darcy_Lussier Don't worry. Next year we'll have a better app that will let us sell out our limited number of campsites twice as fast and easy! This will surely fix our supply and demand problems.
Shout out to the @MBGovParks social media team and the IT team keeping PRS running. This system is incredibly ancient & the blame for its lack of maintenance and upkeep spans both @mbndp and @PC_Manitoba govs. If you're mad at the experience, let @JeffWharton4MLA know! #mbpoli
I confess that I thought the 2016 NDP promise to double the number of yurts was silly electioneering at the time. However, if I was the current government then next week's budget would promise yurts for all. #yurtssogood
Finally, we will stop expanding the boundaries of any provincial building. If we can't all fit, Manitobans will just have to get smaller. Careful when crowding, because if the floors get scuffed, we'll blame you.
If that doesnโt work, we can start a reservation system! #MBpoli
We're proud of how we run #mbparks, so we're ready to take those ideas all over Manitoba! #mbpoli
We'll continue this government's proud history of balancing the budget by not governing.
Putting money on your kitchen table is our top priority, and doing stuff is expensive!
We wisely moved all our fisheries and wildlife staff into the Resources Ministry.
That's how we know that moving Shared Health into the Liquor and Cigarettes Ministry will be a hit!
