Year 5 are loving their tour of The Globe Theatre! Their knowledge of Shakespeares plays has been super impressive!

Who says relay racing is just for PE lessons?! We were looking at editing and spotting mistakes in our work, each team had to race to the written paragraph fix an error they could spot and race back to their team for the next person to go! πββοΈπ
Maths, but make it fun and relatable!
Weβre looking at adding and subtracting numbers up to 6 digits. Each pair were given a budget to plan a party! π₯³ we had some savers and some lavish spenders but all used maths skills successfully!

So impressed with the creativity and resilience showed by year 5 to create these incredible pieces!
We had so much fun making our own explosive installation pieces today! Inspired by Cai Guo-Qiangβs art, next we will be looking at depth and space and bringing our mini installations to life!

What does today have in store for us π€
Year 5 had a fantastic time at Mill Hill School today. We had lessons in biology, chemistry and physics! We loved applying our prior knowledge to practical experiments. Thank you to all those at Mill Hill School for a wonderful afternoon π§¬π§ͺ
Mr Billing paid us a visit and even had a go at tomahawk throwing himself, the children were super impressed with his skills! πͺ
What a fantastic camping trip year 5 had!
We did some archery, tomahawk throwing, laser tag and lots of games! Lots of tired but very happy campers this morning β¨βοΈ
