One year after the enforced disappearance of Shoaib Baloch, the silence of state security agencies exposes a system built on impunity. Abductions without warrants, secret detentions, and denial of due process are clear violations of both Pakistan’s constitution and international human rights law. No institution should stand above the law, yet accountability remains absent.
The continued disappearance of Shoaib Baloch violates fundamental legal protections guaranteed under international conventions, including the right to liberty, fair trial, and protection from arbitrary detention. State authorities cannot claim legitimacy while ignoring court orders, constitutional responsibilities, and international obligations regarding enforced disappearances.
The world must recognize that enforced disappearances are not isolated incidents but part of a wider pattern of repression in Balochistan. State security agencies must be held accountable for unlawful actions carried out under the cover of silence and fear. Immediate disclosure of Shoaib Baloch’s whereabouts is a legal and moral obligation.

The Baloch Women Forum expresses deep concern over the continued reports of enforced disappearances of Baloch women in different areas of Balochistan which have caused serious fear, uncertainty and distress among Baloch Nation.
According to recent reports from the Tejaban area of Kech district, Zubaida wife of Haji Badal and her daughter-in-law Zarnaz wife of Daulat were allegedly taken into custody during a late-night raid reportedly conducted by security forces, after which their whereabouts remain unknown. The families have since been left without any official information regarding their safety, legal status, or current location.
This incident is particularly alarming as it comes in the backdrop of an earlier tragedy, where Daulat son of Haji Badal was reportedly killed on 18 February 2026 in an alleged incident involving a state-backed death squad. The subsequent reported disappearance of his mother and wife has further intensified the suffering of the family and raised serious humanitarian and human rights concerns.
The Baloch Women Forum reiterates that enforced disappearances are unacceptable under any circumstances and constitute a grave violation of fundamental human rights. The safety, dignity and protection of all women must be ensured without delay. We urge all concerned institutions to take immediate, effective and meaningful action to end these practices and to prevent further suffering of affected families.

7 days without hearing his voice.
7 nights without knowing where he is.
Every hour feels heavier than the last.
Every minute is filled with fear.
Every second passes with unanswered questions.
How long do we have to wait?
How long will this silence continue?
My brother is not just a number.
He is loved. He is missed. He is human.
We demand answers.
We demand his safe return.
