In Kampala, a ready-mix truck can receive “LabCrete” at the batching plant and leave “YoloCrete” at the construction site. A little water added on the road, a little waiting time in traffic, a little washout dumped where it shouldn’t be, and the concrete system quietly breaks.

That is why the ready-mix sector is growing fast, yet a credibility gap is emerging in performance, durability, and trust.

Eng. Masamba Pinto is a Civil Engineer and Lab Technician at Kabale University, bringing over twelve years of experience in road construction projects across Uganda.

He holds an MSc in Civil Engineering (Kampala International University), a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Kabale University), and a National Diploma from UTC Elgon. Masamba’s career advanced from laboratory assistant to pavement and materials engineer, contributing to projects with Lea Associates, KOM Consult, and Air Water Earth Consult.
Today, he supports students at Kabale University through practicals, research, and industrial lessons, fostering the next generation of engineers.
We congratulate him as he takes the Engineers’ Oath, celebrating a career dedicated to engineering excellence, mentorship, and impactful infrastructure development.

Good afternoon @NIRA_Ug .

I visited the kololo office for information correction because of some descripancy in the day and month of birth on the ID with my actual one. How long does it take to print for me a new card because it's now 6 weeks past ????
Just feel frustrated.
