Flat Earthers constantly say "make water stick to a ball" like it's the ultimate gotcha since it cannot be replicated on a small scale.
We can however prove it with Math by understanding mass and how gravity works.
A small object has so little mass that its gravitational pull is too weak to hold water against everyday forces. Earth, on the other hand, has enormous mass, and that mass generates enough gravity to keep the oceans firmly in place.
The difference isn’t a failure of the model. It’s simply a matter of scale.
Not all disabilities need a wheelchair - some just need a YouTube algorithm, zero critical thinking, and the unshakable confidence that NASA is lying about the shape of a sphere.
Flat Earthers think Earth’s 1,000 mph spin should fling us all into space.
Reality: the planet is enormous.
That speed is just ~1,000 miles of travel per hour across a 25,000-mile equator.
Gravity keeps us firmly grounded.
I love videos like this—partly because I like to think how they trigger the domed disc people. 26,000 kph and 150 km up. This is in space, where they say rockets can’t go or work—and we can plainly see the curvature of the globe. A publicly traded company is doing this, not some government agency. The videos are broadcast live from space; anyone can download and track them. Denial is… amusing.
Mission Control: Are you up and at 'em yet? Over.
Armstrong: Well, we're up, at least
As the crew of Apollo 11 began this day in 1969, they looked out the windows and started preparing their spacecraft for their return to Earth the following day.
@FTFEofficial I wish these flerfers would take flying lessons!Would love to see where they end up with all the compass errors while planning their cross country flight. Of course they have no idea what I’m talking about, since research is kryptonite to them.
The people desperate to excuse Obama’s immense wealth made while he was in office …
Trying to explain why it’s ok for Obama … but not Trump who has not increased his net worth 70 times over …
Too. Damn. Funny.
