Hi All! The MC2 Lab is looking to hire a full-time lab manager! So, if you know of any exceptional undergraduates looking for more lab & research experience before applying to graduate school, please encourage them to check out our website and apply!

We tend to better remember certain kinds of information and not others. But, why? We are currently exploring the contexts and conditions that make certain kinds of information better encoded/retrieved from memory than others.
A little about Dr. Persaud:
Her research lies at the intersection of semantic and episodic memory. Her work explores how we encode, represent, and reconstruct information from memory given our noisy vague recollections of past events and our prior knowledge about those events.
Absolutely filled with pride to share that @CarlaKeyanna is receiving the prestigious @Rutgers_Newark Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship Award!
Not only that, but she will be working with former CoCoDev Postdoc (& new RU faculty member) @KimelePersaud in the @MC2LabRutgers!
Iโm incredibly excited to share that I will be joining @ASUPsych to pursue a PhD in Psychology under the mentorship of Dr. Kelsey Lucca (@EmergingMindsAZ) this fall! Feeling very fortunate to be supported by so many wonderful mentors, existing and new, as I take this next step ๐ต
The MC^2 Lab explores the processes that underlie how we encode and retrieve information from memory. We also explore how these memory processes change across development and across knowledge groups. Stay tuned for updates on our research, news, and ways to participate!
"Hi!" from the Memory and Computational Cognition (MC2) Lab at Rutgers University! We're excited to share our research with you! Please visit our website at https://t.co/KA6pHAJThg to learn more about who we are and what we study!
