New taster glasses are on order with our updated logo (see pfp) . Come see us this summer and grab a couple! This is our only real outside fundraising endeavor.
We haven't run an ad since last year and if I knew this was going to be such an issue, I never would have done it. There seems to be no option to turn this shit off and it's driving me nuts.
Since I can't find the right answer on Facebook's overwhelmingly large help section, maybe I can summon an actual FACEBOOK HELP person on Twitter.
The Page for the Brewclub on FB is being spammed with Ad promotion notifications, 75+ in just the last 5 days SPAM SPAM SPAM.
Heads up - we're looking at a different yeast strain. WLP002 is only ~65% attenuation and I'm mocking up this recipe and it's over 1.035FG, which is way too sweet, IMO. Maybe this'll just be open to a "Stout Friendly" yeast in the 75% range like London Ale I Wyeast 1028.
Water Chemistry Example
Based on 10gal from presumed Filtered (0/0/0 water)
6.5g Baking Soda
4g Table Salt (or Kosher)
3.64g Gypsum
2.5g Epsom Salt
2.25g Chalk
We discussed glassware for 2020 fundraising. I think I we settled on a mini-snifter but they're roughly double the cost of the mini-can we did last year. Here's my pick for this year - bonus, they're stacakble.
Come check us out at the #centurycenter tomorrow for the South Bend BrewFest 2020. We got a late invite, so we're a bit understaffed, but we'll be bringing some great beers including an Imperial Sour (shown) and a Chocolate Cherry Cordial ON TAP.
