On Jan. 31 1968, Lt. Col. Robert C. Knight earned the Distinguished Service Cross for his actions as an aircraft commander and leader of an assault helicopter platoon against an enemy offensive on Soc Trang, South Vietnam. He is buried in Section 59. We honor his service.
