@ajcdeane During the EU Ref she was asked about the cross-party nature of Stronger In and said "There are no Conservatives in Manchester" whilst I was stood there as a Con Cllr responsible for the Stronger In campaign in Manchester - sure made me feel part of a team. Tribal to the core!
@JoshFG Women and Men's safety.
You erase suffering and diminish the experiences of victims by refusing to even acknowledge that it is possible. Yes, the majority of victims are women, but you don't change attitudes by refusing to accept that it happens. - https://t.co/9u2hDssLxv
@93vintagejones This revisionist opinion makes the assumption that Germany in Oct38 was as militarily capable as it was in Sept39 or even May40. Czechoslavakian tanks made up a significant portion of the German armoured force during the invasion of Poland for ex.
@iainlindley Having just come out of the 2015 Con campaign, my experience as a paid organiser with the BSIE campaign was disappointing to say the least. Constant flip flopping of decisions, poor support from centre and an obsession with hitting KPIs.
@Paul_SLG Just provided a more neutral comment page would be a start. Most councils ask for the reason for objection, almost as if there would be no one supporting.
@OllyJohnstone I only considered Tugendhat as a serious candidate. The others are all third rate at best. Jenrick has no vision or solid sense of who he is. Badenoch is prone to outbursts and empty right/left comparisons.
Zero pragmatism in either of them.
@Gaylussite Tandridge District in Surrey. If it isn't already built it, it's almost certainly Greenbelt. A situation that the council don't seem to find all that concerning.
@hgggrA@labourball@freddie_poser Its empty threats from developers. Where else are they going to build it? They have already spent seven figures on getting the planning application to committee, are they really going to throw it away over an off-site contribution? Some Councils call the bluff and benefit from it
