An appropriate way to commemorate Memorial Day is to read (or re-read) @ErniePyleLegacy column on the WWII death of Captain Waskow. https://t.co/BFTRbPyGQi
Climate change is a national defense crisis. 5 years ago, @NationalGuard spent 14,000 personnel hours fighting wildfires. In 2021, that increased to 170,000 hours. "It's only going to get worse." #ClimateCrisis#ClimateActionNow https://t.co/6EI4mmJ8eX
Today, we lost an American hero. Charles McGee, Brigadier General and one of the last surviving Tuskegee Airman, passed at the age of 102. While I am saddened by his loss, I'm also incredibly grateful for his sacrifice, his legacy, and his character. Rest in peace, General.
Thank you @palakovichcarr for introducing HB0237 to add @ReserveOrg to the Maryland Veterans Commission. Your consistent support of veterans means a great deal to all of us who have worn the uniform.
This is great news! Veterans are key to growing the Maryland small business community and it is critical to provide early support.
"The center will provide the more than 400,000 veterans in Maryland with an opportunity to explore business opportunities."

#WeRemember911
Twenty years later, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost and the families and loved ones they left behind. Let’s remember this day as the time we decided to ensure that the ideals attacked on 9/11 never fade away—they live on in the memory of the heroes who protected us.
We remember where we were 20 years ago during worst terrorist attack on American soil in history. We must honor those lost by remembering patriotism—an idea which unites all Americans in the quest to realize America’s true potential. Look to your neighbors and extend kindness.
