Don Mattingly explaining to practice being short & quick in practice with the focus of hitting line drives opposed to trying to lift & launch in batting practice.

If you are hitting low line drives with back spin in practice consistently off of 60 MPH when you take that same swing off of 90+ MPH & just miss slightly below / clip the bottom half. Those turn into Doubles & Home Runs. But when you try and lift off of batting practice & lift in the game. That is when you find tons of swing & miss as well as top spin ground balls.
