Strong Hitting Not Enough As Western Post 522 Green Falls To Post 36

Western Post 522 Green fell 8-3 to Post 36 on Monday despite out-hitting them eight to seven. Braden Valentine led Western Post 522 Green with two hits.

Post 36 were the first to get on the board in the first when Chandler Geisler singled, scoring two runs.

Post 36 added one run in the second. Seth Edison lined out, making the score 3-0.

Charlie Lynch earned the win for Post 36. The pitcher surrendered five hits and one run over five innings, striking out eight and walking one. Jacob Marchand pitched three innings in relief for Western Post 522 Green. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run while, striking out none and walking one. Spencer Dixson took the loss for Western Post 522 Green. The pitcher went two innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on two hits, striking out one and walking two.

Urban Tarplay, Dixson, and Charlie Ming each drove in one run for Western Post 522 Green. Coen Moschler stole two bases.

Geisler and Eli Eason were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Post 36. Addison Ashley went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Post 36 in hits. Grayson Sult led Post 36 with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing six walks for the game. Ashley stole two bases.

WF Junior Blue were triumphant over Post 8 Junior Hawgs 1-Black 7-4 on Monday.

WF Junior Blue were the first to get on the board in the first when West Parker singled, scoring one run.

Post 8 Junior Hawgs 1-Black took the lead, 4-1, in the bottom of the second thanks to two errors.

, which helped WF Junior Blue tie the game at four in the top of the fourth.

In the top of the sixth, WF Junior Blue broke up the tie when Parker tripled, scoring two runs. Then a double by Jayden Peoples followed to extend the lead to 7-4.

Eli Hincliff pitched three innings in relief for WF Junior Blue. The reliever allowed one hit and zero runs while, striking out five and walking one. Parker stepped on the bump first for WF Junior Blue. The hurler gave up one hit and four runs (zero earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking four. Connor Rinaldi stepped on the hill first for Post 8 Junior Hawgs 1-Black. The pitcher gave up three hits and four runs (two earned) over three innings, striking out three and walking five.

Parker provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led WF Junior Blue with three runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. WF Junior Blue had patience at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Layton Saliba, Langston Underwood, and Will Trexler led the team with two walks each. Saliba stole four bases.

Will Trexler collected four hits in four at bats, as WF Junior Blue defeated 2026 Mocksville Junior American Legion 10-4 on Thursday. Trexler hit a home run to left field in the third inning, singled in the fourth inning, doubled in the second inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

A ground out by West Parker put WF Junior Blue on the board in the bottom of the first.

A grand slam to left field by Preston Young gave 2026 Mocksville Junior American Legion the lead, 4-1, in the top of the second.

WF Junior Blue captured the lead, 5-4, in the bottom of the third when Jayden Peoples tripled, scoring one run, Trexler homered to left field, scoring two runs, and Aden Munter singled, scoring one run.

Munter pitched four innings in relief for WF Junior Blue. The hurler surrendered zero hits and zero runs while, striking out five and walking three. Peoples stepped on the mound first for WF Junior Blue. The starter surrendered two hits and four runs over three innings, striking out five and walking five. Michael Saunders stepped on the bump first for 2026 Mocksville Junior American Legion. The righty allowed six hits and five runs over three innings, striking out four and walking two.

WF Junior Blue tallied 11 hits in the game. Peoples and Parker each collected multiple hits for WF Junior Blue. Peoples, Parker, and Matt Wright each stole multiple bases for WF Junior Blue. WF Junior Blue stole 11 bases in the game.

Young, the number eight hitter for 2026 Mocksville Junior American Legion, led the way with four runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Jason Riddle and Young each collected one hit for 2026 Mocksville Junior American Legion. Ben Bost paced 2026 Mocksville Junior American Legion with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up eight walks for the game.

Western Post 522 Green Fall To Post 36 After Surrendering Big First Inning

Post 36 defeated Western Post 522 Green 11-1 on Wednesday thanks in part to six runs in the first inning.

Post 36 jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Addison Ashley drew a walk, scoring one run, Eli Eason singled, scoring two runs, Charlie Lynch singled, scoring one run, Chandler Geisler hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Cam Ellerbe drew a walk, scoring one run.

A single by Ashley extended the Post 36 lead to 7-0 in the bottom of the second inning.

Foster Simoniz earned the win for Post 36. The lefty surrendered two hits and one run (zero earned) over four innings, striking out eight and walking one. Caleb Sparrow pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for Western Post 522 Green. The hurler surrendered eight hits and five runs (four earned) while, striking out none and walking one. Urban Tarplay took the loss for Western Post 522 Green. The starting pitcher went one-third of an inning, surrendering six runs on three hits, striking out none and walking three.

Spencer Dixson and Nate Smith each collected one hit for Western Post 522 Green.

Post 36 tallied 12 hits in the game. Eason drove the middle of the lineup, leading Post 36 with three runs batted in. The left-handed hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. WF Junior Blue Cling To Victory As Western Post 522 Green Nearly Erase 6-Run Deficit

WF Junior Blue built a 6-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Western Post 522 Green's charge for a 9-8 victory on Tuesday. Western Post 522 Green closed the gap by scoring on a single, a double, an error, and a single.

WF Junior Blue didn't take the lead until later in the game. The game was tied at eight in the top of the eighth when a passed ball scored one run.

Western Post 522 Green got on the board in the third inning after Braden Valentine drew a walk, scoring one run.

WF Junior Blue flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring six runs on three hits to take the lead, 6-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Tatum Drew that drove in two.

WF Junior Blue easily dispatched Post 8 Junior Hawgs-2-Orange on Monday, 17-7.

WF Junior Blue got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Eli Hincliff singled, scoring one run, Finnley McGuire singled, scoring one run, Dillon Ketron induced Jayden Peoples to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored, and Luas Goodrum singled, scoring one run.

WF Junior Blue added one run in the second. WF Junior Blue scored on a wild pitch, making the score 6-0.

WF Junior Blue added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Goodrum singled, scoring one run, Noah Evans was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Carter Secrist doubled, scoring two runs.

Post 8 Junior Hawgs-2-Orange scored six runs on three hits in the top of the fifth inning. Ketron singled, scoring one run, an error scored three runs, Dom Bost grounded out, scoring one run, and Joey Russell drew a walk, scoring one run.

WF Junior Blue scored five runs on four hits in the top of the fourth inning. Parker doubled, scoring two runs, Will Trexler hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Jayden Peoples singled, scoring two runs.

WF Junior Blue scored six runs on six hits in the top of the fifth inning. Secrist singled, scoring two runs, Parker doubled, scoring one run, Langston Underwood doubled, scoring one run, Jaxson Phillips singled, scoring one run, and Peoples doubled, scoring one run.
