@BobFiorettiChi In 2015 and 2019, you ran for Mayor and lost.
In 2016, you ran for the Illinois State Senate and lost.
In 2018 and 2022, you ran for Cook County Board President and lost.
In 2020 and 2024, you ran for Cook County States Attorney and lost.
Can’t you take a hint?
@RepClayHiggins “The reasonable restriction of public statements that lie far beyond the standards of our own society is not an oppression of free speech, it is, rather, the protection of free speech.”
This may be the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read. Shame on you and your censorious tripe.
@ByronDonalds When you took your oath of office, you swore to uphold the Constitution. Have you read the Fifth Amendment?
“No person shall … be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law;”
Not “no citizen” - it applies to all persons.
@awfulannouncing That’s not the meme. Amaro referring to the Titanic after the HR means nothing.
The meme would apply if the announcers were already mournfully talking about how tragic the Titanic was while Castellanos hit the HR.
@HouseForeignGOP@TheAtlantic How is it BS? The two questions are simple and straightforward.
Russia has been an enemy of the U.S. for 80 years. Is this still true?
@seanmdav Where were you when Ken Paxton was running to the Eastern District of Podunk to get nationwide injunctions against everything the Biden Administration did?
This whole “they’re weird” argument from the Democrats is dumb & juvenile. This is a presidential election, not a high school prom queen contest. It’s also a tad ironic coming from the party that preaches “diversity & inclusion.” Win on policy if you can, but cut the crap please.
I’m really disappointed that one of the first questions wasn’t about accepting the results of the 2020 election and the events of Jan. 6.
Those should be table stakes just to enter this debate, let alone the election.
