I am thrilled to announce that we have treated our first SCINTIX patient on the @reflexionmed X1 in #radonc@UPMCHillmanCC.
This represents one of the first patients in the world to be treated using this tracer guided delivery of #radiation to treat cancer and the culmination of the tireless efforts of our amazing staff.
As we develop this technique through clinical experience, #clinicaltrials, and expansion of #radiotracers, it will provide substantial benefit to patients and open up additional avenues of our understanding of tumor response and radiation delivery.
Black patients remain underrepresented in clinical trials. This real-world study examines the impact of race in patients with NSCLC treated with chemoradiation and durvalumab.

First off, I am excited to welcome @MDNeal who will be joining us at @UPMCHillmanCC at Shadyside in September! He will be coming to us after completing his residency at @WinshipAtEmory. We look forward to seeing him in #Pittsburgh soon!
