Suvendhu Adhikary today visited, turncoat TMC MP, Sudip Bandhyopadhya for Laxmi Puja.
Sources say that Suvendhu has agreed that around 20 former TMC councillors, who were found to be corrupt, will contest KMC elections on NCPI ticket, supported by BJP.
While Samik Bhattacharya and other Old BJP leaders have strongly protested against supporting Ex-TMC councillors.
Now both Suvendhu Adhikary and Samik Bhattacharya have been called to Delhi to sort out this issue.

Without a proper Census Data, Suvendhu Govt has carried out a Delimitation of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, where 209 wards have been created from 144 wards.
Basic reasoning was to distribute voters equally across all wards.
But a careful analysis of some wards show how the entire Delimitation was carried out for a demographic change in the ward.
For example,
Ward 62 (Old) still has around 40000 voters compared to the other wards at an average of 15000 voters, because it is Muslim Majority.
Likewise, ward 43,44 (old) have been merged to form ward-56 (new) as both these wards were Muslim Majority.

Again, Ward-39(Old) has got 5 parts added from across the Chittaranjan Avenue from Hindu dominated areas, just to alter the Demography of the Ward. Chittaranjan Avenue was a boundary for all other wards.

Many examples can be sighted, but KMC officials, Particularly the Survey Department officials say that unidentified BJP members under instructions of Smita Pandey, Commissioner of KMC, camped inside the Corporation for days and influenced the redrawing of Ward Boundaries.
This is a big sham and Democracy under the BJP has become a big Joke.

In Pilibhit (Uttar Pradesh), the Congress party claimed that the names of more than 13,000 people were changed on the list after it was already finalised in April.

Their voter ID card numbers stayed the same, but the names (and fathers’ names) were different. They also said some real voters were removed and some new names of people who don’t live there were added. In total, they flagged problems with over 16,000 entries.

The Election Commission checked and found that searching some voter ID numbers was showing the wrong person’s details. So they removed two officials from the work, ordered legal action against them, and asked for the list to be corrected.
