Delighted to see the next 5 year National Action Plan on #AMR -four themes & nine outcomes - needs concerted X-HMG work, health and public health services, academia, industry AND most importantly engaging with the public to improve understanding and actions to reduce the impact.
New action plan to tackle antimicrobial resistance (AMR) commits the UK to:
🔵 reduce use of antimicrobials
🔵 strengthen surveillance of drug resistant infections before they emerge
🔵 incentivise industry to develop the next generation of treatments

Just been to see this - and gutted it was the last night as immediately wanted to tell everyone to go and see it. Brilliant, moving and funny #DixonandDaughters@NationalTheatre
Very disappointed in @LNER today after my daughter missed her train back from an audition in Leeds today and got on the next one. Ticket inspector wouldn’t let me pay for her ticket over the phone (he wanted to charge full adult fare £160 and she didn’t have enough)
I understand @LNER inspector was operating within the rules but think there should have been some discretion, rather than forcing 18-year old off the train?
