@dandinohill Option 2 isn’t a fix either. Only extends it out another 25 years so it’s not the current politicians problem. The entire system needs to be revamped. Take care of those close or somewhat close to retirement and start young adults on a new program.

@freakoutsideofx And all federal spending bills initiate in the house. GOP controlled both chambers from 1995 through 2001. Clinton chose to negotiate to get these things done instead of today’s politics where they will just throw a tantrum and not agree to anything.

@RepJasmine All spending starts in the House and for the most part every presidents 1st year spending was passed under the prior administration. While the buck ultimately stops at the White House a majority of deficit spending was initiated in a Democrat controlled house.

@SenSanders Because you never tell them what it will do to their taxes. All you say is free healthcare. Total heathcare spending may gone down some but on an individual basis tha wont be true for everyone. Alot of people will see their taxes go up more than their healtcare saving.

@lukepbeasley The cost is the same he’s just paying some of that cost with someone else’s $ 🙄. I’m still trying to figure out how it costs $10 million + to put a 9,000 sq ft store in an existing building. When locally they can build a new state of the art 30,000 sq ft store for the same cost

@GunnelsWarren We DONT have a revenue problem. Year after year we continue to collect more taxes than ever before. Yet continue to outspend that by trillions. Even Bernie’s tax the rich plan only gains $450 billion more revenue and he already has a plan to spend it. Get real about spending !!
