In the Western Pacific, 7 countries, including Cambodia, China, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines and Viet Nam, are considered high risk for rabies.
Schistosomiasis is also endemic to China, two provinces in Cambodia, Philippines, and one province in Lao PDR.
