Take a bow @michaelgove. Thanks to his reforms when Education Secretary English pupils are today among the world’s leading performers in science and maths while Scotland and especially Wales have slumped to 20-year lows.
The great numbers for English schoolkids have come came in today’s OECD’s global assessment called the Programme for International Assessment.
It puts England up there with Japan, Korea and Estonia for the vital science and maths attainment.
That Labour idiot Lucy Powell wants to dump the Gove initiatives and “ replace the exam factory with the talent factory”.
It’s all bollocks of course.
Thanks to the fact that Wales has not followed the reforms there’s both a huge lack of jobs in the Valleys and now a huge lack of brains.
In the world we’re in we need big brains. All

@JuliaHB1 The NHS doesn't work! No other country copied it. You can have "free at the point of delivery" healthcare without medical staff being employees of the state. France, Germany and most others have better healthcare and better outcomes. Free the NHS!
