@EsotericCD Write this down for posterity's sake: Paxton drops out after Trump's endorsement of Cornyn, on the promise that he will be appointed the remainder of Ted Cruz's term, after Cruz is nominated to the Supreme Court (once there is an opening, of course).
@EsotericCD (From Dallas) To your points:
1) Cornyn has more than a fighting shot. The fact that he overperformed RCP average polling shows that. Paxton is a singularly despicable human being, much less political candidate.
2) Talarico is this cycle's Wendy Davis and Beto.
@TomAllnutt_ Serious question (albeit from a Texan who doesn’t know much of anything): If Spurs decided to move on from Frank, would Alonso be interested, or of interest?
@SportsSturm I think that this is absolutely brilliant on the part of the Tour. If Rahm, DeChambeau, and Smith do the deal (which they can afford, given what they’ve been paid by the PIF, LIV is dead. The only way LIV survives is as a second-tier tour, which will never happen.
