This 8th grade teacher is one of more than 2,6000 educators on strike in Denver — here's why her fight isn't just for the teachers, but also for the students

Dear #edutwitter can someone please create a new website to fill the huge gap @WordleUnlimited just left in my class vocabulary review. I don’t think my students will ever forgive me if we don’t find a replacement. Currently trying with conditional formatting in Google sheets 🤦🏼♀️
@cmdiamond266@WordleUnlimited I appreciate the link but it doesn’t look like this one can let you set your own words. My kids and I were making wordles with vocab words and sending them to each other to review. They were so engaged!
@WordleUnlimited please tell me your domain change and the website going down is temporary! Our class was in the middle of a vocabulary review tournament! #education
@smerconish is the vaccinated section an incentive? Are the tickets cheaper or is there another benefit? Having to wear a mask and sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers sounds less appealing than socially distanced seating and masks
@thelauracoates @SXMPOTUS @SIRIUSXM Also, crucial voice missing in this conversation is that of our students. Ask students if they want to come back in person and their reasoning. Most of my upperclassmen did not want to return because of the potential disruptions of quarantine, inability to see grandparents, etc
@thelauracoates @SXMPOTUS @SIRIUSXM I have had success with remote learning. Part of the reason this is so difficult is that we are expected to provide the same instruction online that we have in person when this has given us the opportunity to create something new and address the inequalities prevalent in Ed.
