Today's Google Doodle celebrates the birthday of Old Grammarian, botanist & librarian Mary Ellinor Lucy Archer MBE (1912).

After leaving MGGS, Mary became the first female scientist at the Australian CSIRO & was considered one of the most significant specialty librarians.
