A new study commissioned by UNICEF shows that the nutritional situation in Gaza – contrary to all propaganda – is today better than in all neighboring Arab states and even better than in some European countries.
The proportion of acute malnutrition among children under five years of age is between 0.2 and 0.8 percent. In Egypt, it is 2.9 percent, in Jordan 2.0 percent, in Syria over 12 percent, and even in Bulgaria 4 percent.
In other words: There is no famine in Gaza.
Malnutrition is not only significantly below the critical values – it is exceptionally low in regional comparison.
Anyone who is still open to arguments can look at the empirical data themselves.

I’ve known Pierre Poilievre since 2004. He has always been direct, disciplined and willing to say what many politicians are afraid to say.
The MSM spends too much time worrying about Pierre’s tone and too little time examining Mark Carney’s record. Canadians aren’t struggling because Pierre speaks bluntly. They’re struggling because government has made housing, food, energy and nearly everything else more expensive while investment and productivity continue to suffer.
Carney benefits from polished language, friendly media coverage and the assumption that credentials equal competence. Pierre is judged by a different standard. Every phrase is dissected while Liberal failures are explained away.
Could the Conservatives present a stronger public team? Certainly. But Pierre remains the clearest and most credible alternative to another Liberal government.
He understands incentives, supports work and enterprise, and recognizes that government cannot tax, regulate and borrow a country into prosperity.
Canada doesn’t need another polished manager of decline. It needs a leader prepared to change direction.
I support Pierre Poilievre.
I’m not a Twitter guy, but since I made this together with @mcl_bgn i’m sharing it myself this time. Thank you for supporting Israel and the Jewish people.
You can’t make this stuff up.
Doug Ford cancels $100 million deal with Starlink and pays huge penalty.
Mark Carney, gives $2.3 Billion to his buddy at Telesat to provide internet for Northern Canada.
Telesat hires Space X to launch Telesat satellites to cover Northern Canada.
This is seriously impressive and shows why Nayib Bukele is one of the most competent leaders in the world.
He has the right balance of intellect and common sense.
Racist Commie Mamdani is going to make you show ID in his markets. You want your government-subsidized arugula? Show your papers! Ask for ID to vote? BIGOT!!!
Are you starting to realize what disingenuous lying buffoons these commies are?
When we were preparing to go to Iraq in 2005 we had an Iraqi who had fled Iraq, and ended up in the employ of the CIA briefing us on culture, and Ramadan came up.
One of the senior officers in the auditorium spoke up quickly, and started to say we should not drink, eat, or smoke in front of Iraqis during Ramadan, to respect their culture.
This CIA dude immediately locks eyes with this officer and asks very loudly
“WHY?!”
The officer was a little caught off guard, and before he could answer the CIA guy started explaining.
“You are American, you are Christian, you DO NOT celebrate Ramadan, and if you don’t carry on as an American during Ramadan it will be seen as weakness. It reinforces their idea that their god is the only true god, and that all others will bow before Islam.
If they don’t offer you a drink when you come to their home, ask for one, during Ramadan!
Make them respect you, or they will attack you more because they see you as weak.
They are asserting their dominance, and if you falter in the slightest they see you as less than them.”
That stuck with me, and it was true.
You could see they didn’t respect the guys who went out of their way to accommodate them, both in the way they acted towards American troops, and in the number of attacks on US Forces in the areas.
Eat, drink, and be Merry, even during Ramadan.

So Spain has killed 67 Moroccans breaching its border, all civilians. 67 a days for three years would be 73,365 people or approximately how many Gazans Hamas alleges has been killed in the war, including combatants.
So Spain has the same daily death toll as the Gaza war, except that every single person they killed was a civilian, there was no precipitating massacre, they aren't at war, and there is no threat from the likes of Iran and Hezbollah looming over them.
Dating apps introduced distribution at scale to the sexual marketplace.
Men value access to sex while women value the possibility of a long-term relationship.
Because sex can be fleeting and without recourse men are willing to sleep with women that are below them in “value” in the sexual marketplace.
Because women are focused on relationships and procreation they are generally more likely to attempt to maximize the “value” of their chosen mate in the sexual marketplace.
As a result of scaled digital distribution and the receding taboo around hookup culture women suddenly found that they had instant access to men that wouldn’t typically hit on them in real life let alone pursue a relationship with.
They could open an app and find a man that they previously thought was out of their league who is drunk or horny at any time of the day or night.
Initially this simply resulted in women calling guys assholes at a growing clip in parralel with the instances of less attractive women who were hooked up with and then instantly dumped by guys hotter than them.
But then something strange happened.
First we started seeing women come to terms with the fact that they were hooking up with guys out of their league. But instead of lowering their standards they just started re framing them as “situationships” and “rosters” because it was less painful vs accepting that they were dating out of their league.
Then the vast majority of guys who were by default increasingly ignored by the majority of women who were all pursuing the small cohort of “higher value” guys … will these “lower value” guys just started opting out of the sexual marketplace entirely. They started “locking in” or “getting red-pilled”.
Meanwhile because men will tell women whatever they want to hear to get laid and women lie to each other out of tribalism and intra-gender competition there was no one to tell the girls that they were increasingly delusional in their dating expectations or that things like age-based looks were far more important to most men vs a women’s career progression.
This led to rampant dating expectations on the female side further alienating the median male even as “high value” men seemed to be exempt from any expectations.
In other words if you’re hot you can call her at 3am and then ignore her the next day and she’s fine with it but if you’re a normal guy you better be sending her an uber to a nice restaurant with flowers.
But because of social media the average men became increasingly aware of this phenomena. And now they’re enraged.
Either they become obsessed with getting hot (clavicular) or they start to just hate women in an unhealthy adversarial way.
At the same time because of the increased hookup component with guys out of their traditional “league” on the female side a whole industry of female influencers have popped up to make women feel better about their newly found sexual liberation.
Now to be clear there is definitely a component of traditional and religious framing of sex that women have been moving past for decades.
But this is something else.
This has become mostly women who would prefer to be monogamous with one guy but being forced into a more fluid situation of dating multiple guys at once simply because that lets them retain access to those guys who are out of their league.
And so influencers like Alex Cooper have built an entire genre of female empowerment around reducing the shame associated with sleeping with hot guys who won’t commit to you.
Now where it gets dark is not only are the non-hot men resentful.
The first cohort of women from the dating app era are just hitting the proverbial wall. And they are realizing that the previously mentioned hot guys by virtue of digital distribution have access to newly minted early 20s girls and find that more attractive vs women in their 30s.

My wife left me today. She said it was because I “never stop talking.” I said the yen carry trade is a $20 trillion leveraged bet that the Bank of Japan will never normalize rates and she said “I’m taking the dog.”
Let me explain to you what I was trying to explain to her.
For thirty years Japan ran rates at zero. Zero. Free money. So the entire planet borrowed yen for nothing and bought literally anything with yield. Treasuries, Mexican peso bonds, Nasdaq, your uncle’s crypto. That’s the carry trade. It’s not a strategy. It’s a short volatility position wearing a business casual outfit.
Then in August 2024 the BOJ raised rates 15 basis points. FIFTEEN. And the yen ripped, the Nikkei fell 12% in a day, and the VIX printed 65. That was the tremor. That was the trailer.
She said “you said this last year.” I said YES AND I WAS RIGHT, THE MARKET JUST FORGOT, and she started packing.
Japan’s debt-to-GDP is roughly 250%. The BOJ owns over half the JGB market. They are the market. There’s no price discovery, there’s a guy in Tokyo with a printer and a dream. Every basis point higher on the long end costs them real money on debt they can never actually repay in real terms. So what do you do when you can’t default and you can’t pay? You inflate. You always inflate. It’s the only tool that doesn’t require anyone to vote.
She said “our marriage counselor thinks you have anxiety.” I said your marriage counselor doesn’t know what the 30-year JGB is doing and she said “NOBODY KNOWS WHAT THE 30-YEAR JGB IS DOING, THAT’S THE POINT, PAUL.”
My name isn’t Paul. That’s how far gone we are.
Anyway I’ve got canned goods, a Kagoshima yield curve chart laminated above the bed, and nobody left to explain it to. So it’s you now. Buckle up.
Everyone seeing what’s happening in Spain today and forgetting this was the United States under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Zero border security. Millions of unvetted migrants still inside our country.
For those that want a “15 years later” update on whether fracking was safe:
- Since 2010, 300,000 shale wells were fracked all across the United States
- No groundwater issues
- Nobody got sick
- Hotspots of drilling are thriving
You were lied to.
“I’ve been involved in budgets since 1977, and I’ve never seen such a lack of transparency.”

Since the religion of peace struck on four continents this week, I must repost this piece:
Adolf Eichmann, a high-ranking Nazi and one of the architects of the Holocaust, fled to South America after World War II.
In 1962, he was captured and brought to Israel for trial.
During the proceedings, the prosecution brought in survivors from Nazi death camps to testify against him.
One of them, Yehiel Dinur, entered the courtroom and came face to face with Eichmann, who was seated in a glass box. The moment Dinur saw him, he collapsed to the ground, shaking and sobbing uncontrollably.
Years later, in an interview with 60 Minutes, journalist Mike Wallace asked Dinur if his reaction had been caused by traumatic memories from the concentration camps.
"No," Dinur replied. "It was not the memories that made me collapse. It was the realization that Eichmann was not a demon. He was an ordinary man.
Hannah Arendt, a journalist for The New Yorker, attended Eichmann’s trial and later wrote about it.
She noted that Eichmann was not a psychopath, not a man burning with sadistic hatred. He was ordinary.
That is what made him so terrifying. He was a man who followed orders, who did his job, who justified the horrors he participated in without ever questioning them.
All humans have the capacity for evil. We all have within us the ability to justify unspeakable horrors if the conditions are right.
The question is not whether we are capable of evil, but what prevents us from committing it?
Most religions restrain human evil. They set moral boundaries, condemning acts of violence, injustice, and cruelty.
Christianity commands its followers to love their enemies, forgive those who harm them, and refuse vengeance. Judaism, despite its history of persecution, never formed a doctrine commanding global conquest or the extermination of non-Jews.
Islam, however, does the opposite.
When an ISIS fighter beheads a captive, he is not acting outside the teachings of his faith. He is following the example of Muhammad, who personally oversaw the beheading of hundreds of Jewish men in Medina.
When Hamas terrorists slaughter Israeli families, they are not betraying Islam, they are fulfilling the doctrine of jihad, which commands war against non-Muslims until Islam dominates the world.
Unlike Christianity, which calls for self-sacrifice, Islam calls for sacrificing others. Unlike Judaism, which focuses on preserving its own people, Islam commands the subjugation or destruction of all who reject it.
We all have the potential for evil. But the difference between a person who commits atrocities and one who does not is the belief system that shapes them.
A Christian who commits murder is violating his faith. A Muslim who kills an apostate is fulfilling his.
A Buddhist who wages war is going against the teachings of his religion. A jihadist who slaughters unbelievers is doing exactly what his religion commands.
The Nazis did not commit genocide because they were born different from us. They did it because they were indoctrinated into an ideology that justified mass murder.
The same is true for every Hamas terrorist, every suicide bomber, every ISIS militant.
Their faith tells them that their victims are not innocent, not human, not worthy of mercy. And so, they kill without hesitation.
The reality is, Islam is the only major religion that actively commands the atrocities we fear. It is the only faith where genocide, subjugation, and violence are not historical accidents, but divine commandments.
It is a mistake to think Islam is just another religion, rather than the most dangerous ideology the world has ever known.
