Hundreds of yoga enthusiasts gathered at the Ato Boldon Stadium on 21 June 2026 to celebrate the 12th International Day of Yoga under the theme "Yoga for Healthy Ageing."
The event was graced by Hon’ble Michael Dowlath, Minister of Education of T&T. H.E. Dr. Pradeep Rajpurohit, High Commissioner of India to the country and Ms. Kiva Clarke, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs delivered remarks highlighting the importance of Yoga for healthy lifestyles and wellness.
Participants were guided through a series of yoga practices by instructors representing yoga organizations across Trinidad and Tobago, showcasing the unifying power of yoga in promoting health, harmony, and well-being.
The High Commission extends its sincere appreciation to all participating organizations, instructors, partners, volunteers, and attendees who made this celebration a success.
