Molt orgullós d'haver contribuït poc o molt, amb la meva obsessió per https://t.co/f8t2wZb11P, al reconeixement públic i constant de la contribució menorquina (i del català) a la cultura pròpia de #Gibraltar
The best of luck to my good friend @HumbertHernand7 on the launch of his new novel, Luciano! The link below is to @GGDurante 's excelent review of the novel:

Very interesting to hear Gibraltarian literature was discussed in Nov at the 2nd Congreso Internacional: Exploraciones en las frontera at @univcadiz, where Professor Vélez Núñez delivered a talk entitled 'La verja. Representaciones de la frontera en la literatura gibraltareña.'
New novel, LUCIANO, out on Wednesday 4th December
I shall be holding a book-signing session on Wednesday 4th December at the Fine Arts Gallery, Casemates between 10am and 1pm. Copies of LUCIANO may also be obtained from Amazon and locally from the Heritage Bookshop and BookGem.
Really pleased to hear that a conference paper on my Gibraltarian writings is being delivered today at the 'Place and Space in Contemporary English-written Literatures' conference at Charles University in Prague:
A big thank you to Professor Alonso Breto of @FilComUB at the University of Barcelona for having given me the opportunity to talk about my Gibraltarian novels with students from her 'mon anglofon' course.
"For the very first time in academic history, Gibraltarians are being offered a platform to speak about their own language, giving them a chance to tell us about their relationship to Llanito, Spanish and English in their own words."
Great to see a passage from my novel MARLBORO MAN analysed in ENGLISH GRAMMAR FOR LITERATURE STUDENTS, a new volume by Professor Laura Wright of the University of Cambridge:
Zatím poslední číslo Tvaru jsem věnoval literatuře na Gibraltaru: editorial, rozhovor s prozaikem a akademikem Markem Sanchezem a recenze antologie Borders and Boundaries.
I was recently interviewed by @JanHeller14 for the prestigious Czech literary magazine TVAR. The current edition also features writing by @HumbertHernand7 and @GGDurante, as well as a review of a @PatukaGroup publication. I've just received a copy and it looks great!
I was asked some time ago to make a passage from my novel MARLBORO MAN 'sound more llanito' for the Llanito Past, Present & Future Exhibition recently held in Gib. Below you can see the original passage - together with 3 rewrites, each with more Llanito content than the previous:
