@premierinn I have been trying to contact London Bexleyheath for over an hour, but no answer. I need to recover property left in the room. Can you suggest a way to contact them?
@loosewomen you have a member of the audience whose father was a police officer at Buckingham Palace. Princess Di used to give him sweets. Ask for Susan Ritchie

Recent events in Manchester highlighted the strained relationship between police and members of the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities; Lee Curran, Lecturer in Policing at Liverpool John Moores University, Dr Dan Allen, Principal Social Work Lecturer at Liverpool Hope University, and Dr Julie Feather, Senior Research Fellow at Edge Hill University explore the reciprocated tension, fear and mistrust between community members and law enforcement, and outline the suggestions for a four-step framework to improve that relationship.

We held our inaugural Police Experience day yesterday, in partnership with Merseyside Police, LJMU Outreach and the Emergency Services Training Centre 🚔 Take a look at the feedback from our participants...
🗣 "This was the best training I’ve ever had, and I will definitely spread the words to our Chinese community, letting more people know that everyone has a chance to become a police officer."
🗣 "As a member of a minority group, I have often felt that the police are not approachable and there is a lack of trust. However, today’s event completely changed my perspective. The police team made us feel welcome and valued, which has given me confidence to share with my community what the police truly represent and the important work they do."
🚨 We will be hosting several more Police Experience events in the coming months. Keep your eyes peeled for public events.
