@ChanIsom 1000 % agree!!! Learning to rest when we need to is definitely something I’m learning. Invisible diseases are so hard for other people to understand. I’m thankful for the Type 1 community who gets it!!!
Yes, yes, yes. Thank you @TGC for publishing this! After walking through an eating disorder in my twenties, I wish more people had access to this information. 🤍
This is the face of a child who has just found out that his little brother also has Type 1 diabetes like him. He's trying to comfort his little brother but his sadness is clear
The ones who fight this disease every day know better.
Please fight with us until type one is type none
Jan 3rd endo checkup had me nervous bc of holiday blood sugars! 6.5 A1C, not my best by far, but I’ll still take it! All bloodwork came back normal too 🙌🏻, which is awesome. @BarbaraDavisCen#type1
@GingerVieira@DiabetesStrong Using a CGM makes all the world of difference. I tend to stick to lower carb alcoholic options so I dont have to bonus for them, leaving less insulin in my system overall. I also eat some type of protein/fat heavy snack before bed. Those seem to work for me 😉
