I do not want to absolve Biden for his failures to counter some of Trump‘s most egregious lies, and to keep the focus on important issues where Trump refused completely to answer the questions. But the failure of the moderators to do even the slightest amount to hold Trump’s feet to the fire, for example, when he said absolutely nothing in response to the question about his plan to deport 12 million people - -people they neglected to mention that he has called animals— is just egregious.
